Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Path Tracer Pictures FZCO, a free zone company registered with IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"), for the use of the Path Tracer apps — Path Tracer Mail, Path Tracer Web and Path Tracer Custom Desktop (together, the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Macs you own or control, for the duration of the beta. You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite this restriction.
2. A beta, provided as is
The app is a beta. It may contain errors, change, or stop being available. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copies of anything important: your mail, calendar and files remain in your Google account.
3. The AI assistant
The assistant's answers are generated by a language model and can be wrong, incomplete or misleading — including summaries of your mail, dates and times, and drafted messages. Check its output before relying on it. The assistant is a beta: it works on the email thread you have open, and the only thing it can create is a draft reply in that thread, which is shown to you first and saved only when you confirm it. It never sends anything. You are responsible for what you confirm and send.
4. Your Google account
The app works with your Google account through Google's APIs. Your use of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Meet and Google Drive remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. You can revoke the app's access at any time; see the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to send spam or unlawful content, to access accounts you are not authorised to use, to break the law or anyone's rights, or to interfere with Google's or Apple's services. Do not try to get around the app's safety features, such as its confirmations before sending.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data. In short, it stays on your Mac.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including actions you confirm in the app and output of the AI assistant. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending
You may stop using the app at any time: disconnect your accounts and uninstall it (see Support). We may end the beta, or your licence if you breach these terms. Sections 2, 3, 7 and 10 continue to apply after the licence ends.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new terms here with a new effective date; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
